INNOVATZ offers a platform to students to present their software project ideas. INNOVATZ encourages teams to present unique IT projects ideas. Entries are judged on the basis of innovation, feasibility, and community impact.

Rules & Regulations:

1. Project Idea Topic must be related to any growing research area of IT field.
2. Team has to get registered with their name and title latest by 13 January, 2018 to the coordinators.
3. Each team will be allotted with 15 minutes where 12 minutes is for presentation and 3 minutes for questionnaires round with audience and judges.
4. The Presentation should comprise of 8-10 slides.
5. The arrangement of slides (.ppt) and paper (.pdf, .word) in the form of soft copy as well as hard copy is mandatory which they need to carry on the day of event itself.
6. Students must carry and responsible for their pen drives and laptops.

Rules & Regulations:

1. Contest shall involve 2 rounds

o Elimination Round-problems with Multiple Choice Questions
A right answer carries 2 points and wrong answer carries -1 point
o Final round- top 4 short listed teams of previous round will face buzzer round

2. Contestants shall not be allowed to bring in printed material for reference.
3. Questions will be based on fundamentals of computer science and from programming languages like c, c++ and java.
4. Judges decision will be final decision.

Exhibit your ability to find the bugs and execute the program. The event comprises of two rounds. Five Teams with maximum score will qualify for the final round.

Day, Time and Venue : Day2 at 10:30am-12:30pm in Computer Lab 1, 2
Total Time Allotted : 2 hour
Number of Participants in a team : 2 or less

Rules & regulations :

Round 1 (30 Minutes)

1. Contest shall have 10 code snippets (based on C/C++/JAVA) with bugs in them.
2. All code snippets to be debugged 30 minutes.
3. 2 points will be given for each right answer and -1 will be given for each wrong answer.
4. There should not be any use of unfair means; if this happens then the team will be disqualified.
5. Teams have to put the files on the desktop and inform the coordinator when they finish debugging.
6. Teams have to raise their hands after debugging the programs.
7. Contestants are not allowed to completely rewrite the code.

Round 2 - Final (1 hour)

1. Five programming problems will be given. The team solving maximum problems will be declared as winner.
2. Evaluation will be based on following parameters like: choice of data type and data structures, efficiency of algorithm chosen, indentation and other good programming practices.

Round 1: Elimination Round

1. 20 Objective type questions based on basic web and internet technologies will be given in this round.
2. 2 points will be given for each right answer and -1 will be given for each wrong answer.
3. Five Teams with maximum score will qualify for the final round.

Round 2: Development Round

1. One common Theme of web designing will be provided on the spot to all 5 teams.
2. Contestants are required to design the home page, dashboard and all necessary pages.
3. The individual/teams may be provided with Internet. The participants will not be allowed to use any external device / paper /mobile etc.
4. Winner will be declared on the basis of content, originality, navigability, design, creativity, dynamism & number of components used.

Round 1 Elimination Round (1 hour)

1. Queries from DBMS and RDBMS would be given to all the participants with multiple choice answers.
2. Top Five participants will qualify for the final round.

Round 2 (30 minutes)

1. Queries on Oracle/ MySQL will be given.
2. Participant solving maximum queries in minimum time will be declared winner.
3. In case of a tie a question will be given on the spot by the judges.

Rules & Regulations for COUNTER STRIKE 1.6

1. A clan should consist of 4 members.
2. Every clan should have a name.
3. All matches are played using the max round 5 scoring system by default.
4. Every match will be competition with another clan.
5. A clan will disqualify if found using cheats.
6. All matches needed to be played using Counter Strike v1.6.
7. Both clans get to choose if they start as T or CT.
8. Every winning game will earn you a reward point.
9. Winners will be decided on final score.

1. Make a useful product out of the waste that can include household waste, stationery waste, etc.
2. Product will be judged upon Creativity, Innovation, Explanation and Maximum use of utility.
3. Material has to be brought by the participants.
4. The participants should use their theoretical knowledge, practical skills and ability to make the best out of what is available.

Total time allotted : 2hrs

Rules & Regulations:

1. Each game will take place for a maximum of 20 minutes, with 12 teams playing in a game.
2. Each move on the board will be based on dice thrown. To start the first move number six on the dice is a must. All subsequent occurrences of number 6 will give another complementary chance.
3. If a player encounters a snake or a ladder, the other team member will pick up a random coin from a bag.
4. If the coin picked is white, it means Yes, and if the coin picked is Black, It will mean No.
5. First team to reach the end of the board is declared winner and the game ends.
6. If a game takes more than 20 minutes to complete then the team which has progressed the furthest is declared the winner and the game ends.
7. All other rules are as per the classic Snakes and Ladders, alterations (if any) will be announced on the spot by coordinating Faculty.

Rules & Regulations:

1. Rangoli art should not exceed the foam board size of 2ft X 2ft
2. All the participants should note that the Rangoli made should be related to IT.
3. Please bear in mind that your Rangoli art should not offend the viewers and is presentable to viewers of all ages.
4. Participants need to bring all the required materials for their Rangoli.
5. Rangoli should be prepared from scratch on the area provided. No part of the Rangoli can be pre-made before arriving to the competition.
6. Viewers votes and judges opinion combined will determine the winners.

TREASURE HUNT

It's fun to play either inside or outside. The goal of the game is to lead the seekers through a set of clues that takes them from place to place to find a treasure. The "seekers" need to read each clue they find and figure out the next location. Players are handed the starter clue. It tells them where to hunt for the next clue on their way to the treasure. You can hide many clues or just a few. The final clue leads to the treasure.

Round1 : Day1, Time and Venue : at 11am - 12pm College Campus
Round2 : Day2, Time and Venue : at 10am - 1pm College Campus
Total time allotted: 2 hours

Rules & Regulations:

Round 1: Elimination Round

1. A List of 15 items will be given to all the teams.
2. Top 5 teams, who can get maximum items, in given time, qualify for the next round.

Round 2: Final Round

1. A game organizer must create and hide the clues to set up the game for the "seekers".
2. The organizer will provide the clues to the seekers.
3. Keep the clues from your treasure hunt for next time. You can just mix up the order and hide the note in a new spot at each location.
4. The first prize will be awarded to the submitter of the first fully correct answer received before the competition deadline.
5. The winning entries for the runners-up prize draw will be selected from all correct entries received before the competition deadline under independent scrutiny.

PC BUILD

The competition is designed for students to display skills in PC assembly with great precision and speed. All the computer parts must be replaced back on the computer and to the right positions. Participants will identify the different computer components and arrange them to a working Computer, they will demonstrate their ability to follow instructions to put together a PC using the right components and tools until it has started to successful boot to a Microsoft operating system designated.

1. Participants will have to assemble the computer from the available components.
2. All the teams will start at the same time.

Total time allotted: 2 Hours

Rules & Regulations:

Elimination Round:

1. The first round is the charade round where one member from a team had to pick up a chit and enact the word given.
2. A time limit of Two minutes will be allotted to each team.
3. Each correct answer will fetch the team 10 points. If the team is unable to guess the correct answer, it will be passed to the other teams, and the team which guesses the right answer will be allotted 5 points.
4. The time consumed by each team will also be noted down. Considering the points earned and the time consumed, teams will qualify for the second round.

Final Round:

1. The second round is "Pictionary Round" in which a team member has to pick up a chit and explain the given word to the other team members by drawing it.
2. Time slot of 2 minutes will be allotted to each team. If guessed correctly, the team will be allotted 10 points. If not, the word will be passed to the other teams.

**Note: All participants are required to carry their own laptop with all required software for android app development.

Mobitech is the Mobile App development contest in which the participants are required to develop a unique android app. This event has three rounds. First round will comprise of an android quiz. In second round, participants have to create a small splash screen app. In third round, participants are required to create a real life app.

Rules & Regulations:

Round 1: Elimination Round
This round consists of objective type questions based on basic Android and Mobile App Development. Each right answer carries 3 points, and Each wrong answer carries -1 point.

Round 2: Splash Screen App
Participants have to create a splash screen app on the given theme.

Round 3: Real Life App
Participants have to create any real life app.
